Running city

I just went for a Sunday morning run and was thinking that running in other cities other than yours is a really great way to see and know some parts of the city, that maybe you wouldn’t visit when your just walking on taking the hop on hop off bus 🙂

I wonder if when we visited NY if we could of run through it at some parts, like we did in Barcelona and it was great, and in that particular moment you kind of feel that you somehow belong to the city, and your not just ‘visiting’ it…it’s a good feeling 🙂

 

Never too late

Is never too late to say “I’m sorry”… these simple words can make such a difference in someone’s life. Today I was blessed with a pleasant surprise and it felt good. Not everybody is capable of saying these simple words that sometimes are so hard to say…

Hot in the city

Love hot summer nights, like this… and eating ice cream for dinner is one of the best things in these moments 🙂 Can it always be summer? I suppose we wouldn’t appreciate warm weather like we do, if we didn’t have those long winter nights? we will never know…

Brides(maid)

One of my best friends is getting married this Summer and I still have to find The Dress for it. The wedding theme is ’50s rural chic’ which sounds real fun to do, but I still didn’t find anything that fits this idea of mine of “The Dress”. I’m still thinking of making the dress myself, but I found that a bit risky, but I really wanna do it, even if I don’t know if I have the TIME to do it, besides the knowledge… In the end if this crazy idea doesn’t work I have a vintage dress in the closet which will look good, not great, but good but I still have to loose a few pounds… Why can’t we women be more simple about these things… I guess men don’t spend months thinking what are they going to wear at their friend’s weddings… right?

Favorite day of the week

Thursday is my favorite day of the week and I’m guessing we all have favorite days of the week, for some is Friday (because of the weekend arrival) for others is Saturday, but usually never Mondays… almost everybody dislikes Mondays… Well, I like Mondays, but I like Thursdays better, and I suppose is because (and this goes a long way…) China Beach used to air on Thursday night here in Portugal and I absolutely loved that show. Dana Delany you were my heroine 🙂 Love Love Love the end song, love the song theme in the beginning, love everything!

Where is the Sun

Spring has already started, but warm weather is yet to come to my town 🙂 and I’m in need of the warmth of the Sun right now. That’s why some people say that southern populations are happier, like brazilians and africans, in general of course, because they have warm weather almost every year. I can’t complain, because Lisbon has a very good weather, but right now, right this minute, I wanted SUN, hot rays of sun smiling at me 🙂
