Let’s welcome this new week, and cheer up monday morning 🙂 I always say to a friend of mine, that life can change in one minute (sometimes is all it takes…). But right now, let’s sleep tight and dream pink 🙂

When I was growing up (yes, I believe that was in the past…) I wanted to be an astronaut, a gardener, a  teacher, a hairdresser, a ballerina, a tennis player, a fashion designer, a painter, a veterinary, a singer, and I can’t remember anything else… But I guess that’s enough 🙂 In the end I chose to be a graphic designer, but I play the guitar and sing in the shower and in the car, and have a small garden in the backyard, and I cut my own hair, and my boyfriend’s hair, and my girlfriends hair also, and I draw, and paint, I have tennis lessons, and have a cat and a dog, and I have my own sewing machine where I did already some experiences in designing clothes, and I dance… so I guess that leaves out being an astronaut and a teacher (even though I love looking at the stars). Why do we have to choose to be just one thing? Being more and doing more increases the chances of being happy doing those things 🙂
I was watching TV the other day, and Pulp Fiction was on, even though I was almost asleep I had to watch one of my favorite scenes, the one that finishes with:
Fabienne: Whose motorcycle is this?
Butch: It’s a chopper, baby.
Fabienne: Whose chopper is this?
Butch: It’s Zed’s.
Fabienne: Who’s Zed?
Butch: Zed’s dead, baby. Zed’s dead.
Today was general strike day here in Lisbon. People are unhappy with the overall situation of the economy, etc… Meaning: lots of traffic, lots of cars, angry people, and a all lot of other stressful situations. But after a day’s hard work, my sister made me dinner and I could go easily for a run and comeback to find dinner was ready, 5 minutes away from a quick shower and a warm plate of soup and chicken noodles… Can it be like this everyday please sis :)? Thank you! Love you!
Can we have these kind of directions to guide us in life as well? Wouldn’t it be easier… “Hey, just keep right and you’ll find true love” or “If you sleep tight, you’ll get it right :)” or “No parking here, and you will see that your job doesn’t fit you anymore and is time to find other ways to satisfy your creativity!” Maybe, in a world that already have signs for everything, we could have a bit more. Just “be Happy” or “Brush your teeth often” running in buses through the all city!
